Jerry Lee Lewis, The Killer, was born in Ferriday, Louisiana, on September 29, 1935, with music in his veins. As soon as he could reach the keys, he was playing piano, becoming a living Ball of Fire. After gigs, hed rush to the piano, playing for hours, getting hotter as he wentstudios couldnt schedule anyone after him because hed horse around with the 88 long past the sessions end. His showmanship spanned spirituals to pop, all delivered with equal fire.
