Prior to recording _It Might As Well Be Swing_, **Quincy Jones**, the albums arranger, set up a private studio within **Frank Sinatra**s office at Warner Bros. Studios. Here, Jones crafted the arrangements while Sinatra balanced his roles in acting and directing his new film, None But the Brave. Their collaboration was immediate and fluid, with Jones and Sinatra quickly establishing the routines and tempos, fueled by camaraderie and Jack Daniels.

One of the standout tracks, Fly Me to the Moon (In Other Words), was originally titled In Other Words and first recorded by [**Kaye Ballard**](https://youtu.be/MGY5E0Y3XhE "") in 1954, the song gained significant popularity through a bossa nova version by [**Joe Harnell**](https://youtu.be/556TKMNp4hc "") in the early 60s.
