Released in January 2005 as the lead single from **Michael Buble**s multi-platinum album _Its Time_, Home remains his most enduring original composition. The songs pull comes from its honest beginnings, written while Buble was on tour in Italy, feeling deeply homesick and longing for his then-fiancee, **Debbie Timuss**.

Co-written with **Alan Chang** and **Amy Foster-Gillies**, the song trades the sweep of Bubles usual big-band sound for a warmer, more intimate, acoustic-driven arrangement. Its emotional weight is lifted by **Brian Green**s soulful guitar solo, weaving  the melody and Bubles vocal like a quiet conversation.
